Spouses of members shall be given membership in the club on request of the members. The entry fee shall be Rs. 10,000/-. This membership shall have all the rights and privileges of a life member and the spouse member will be extended from payment of monthly subscription.
Any Gentleman who donates Rs. 1,00,000/- (One Lakh) to the Club becomes a life member of the club subject to the obligations to the club. An ordinary member who desires to become a life member can do so by payment of the difference. The first 101 members enrolled as Charter Members also will be the Life Members of the club from the date of existence of the Club. They are exempted from paying monthly subscription.
Temporary members shall be those who have been admitted as mentioned below or candidates for admission as ordinary or life members of the Club. The Secretary may admit as temporary member with the approval of the managing committee for a period of 90 days. Temporary members shall pay Rs. 5000/- as admission fee and a monthly subscription of Rs. 1000/-. He / She shall not have any voting right.
An Institution member may nominate a maximum of two nominees who shall enjoy the privilege of an ordinary member of the Club. Such nominees shall as far as possible be its director/Chief Executive. The institution shall guaranty payment of all Club bills of their nominees. The privileges enjoyed by such nominees and family will automatically be terminated on the institution withdrawing its nominee or the institution ceases to be a member of the club. An institution member shall pay a sum of Rs. 1,50,000 (One Lakh and Fifty Thousand) as entrance fee and a monthly subscription of Rs. 200/- per nominee. All the institution members will have the voting rights. But they can’t contest for elections.
Hon. members are members who have been admitted by the Managing Committee as Honorary members. Only eminent or distinguished persons, who as attained wide acclaim in the country or has highly helped for the betterment of the club or persons holding high offices in the district of Kozhikode and adjacent districts are eligible to be made Honorary members. Conferring such Membership is valid only if the Managing Committee accepts it with 2/3rd majority of the members present in the meeting. The Honorary members need not pay any entrance fee or subscription and he will have no right to propose a member or propose, second or vote at the general body meeting or attend an Annual Extra Ordinary general body meeting or serving on the committee. The tenure of the membership will cease at the end of the club year unless it is renewed by the committee of the succeeding year.
The Managing Committee may invite persons of distinction, to become patrons of the Club provided that no person shall be invited to become a patron unless he donates not less than Rs. 2,50,000/- to the funds of the Club. Patron member will be treated as life member – he can use any one of the rooms free of cost for 12 days in a year and also utilize the club facilities other than food and beverages of a value equivalent to 5% of the then life membership amount every year as a privilege.
